TWAS February 22

Hello Everyone, I hope you've all had a good week! Today was 'day zero' meaning we had an assembly and Club Friday, so . . . the rest of our morning was fast and furious!  Your little ones still managed to get their TWAS letters done in an incredibly short period of time.  We also managed to get some quotes in: “In math we did regrouping. It was awesome” R.K. “In math we did subtraction and adding.”   K. B. “We did sledge hockey and we were having partners.   We were trying to score and it was fun.” K. Hello Everyone, Thank you so much for all of the wonderful treats and thoughtful Valentine's that were brought in to share; we had such a lovely Valentine's/100 day!!   We enjoyed quite a few different 100/Valentine's themed learning activities, one of which was our beautiful beautiful 100 word kindness Wordle — thank you so much to our generous and thoughtful parent volunteer who built it for us. We love it! Hello Everyone, I hope you are all managing to get through this cold without too much inconvenience!  The children have been fantastic.  These blue days can be extremely challenging for those of us who need to run and be free — they have all risen to the challenge!  A note about valentine's day:  We will be enjoying a little valentine's celebration on Wednesday.  The children are welcome to bring valentines.  For those who do wish to hand out valentines, we do ask that there is one for each of our 20 students. There's no need to worry about names. They can address it Dear Valentine or something similar.  This also helps with reading anxiety during delivery time :)  If your child really wants to put names on then email me and I'll send you a list of first names.
